Smith-Midland Corporation Awarded $500,000 Contract for J-J Hooks Barrier along Baltimore Beltway

Midland, Va. – Smith-Midland Corporation (OTC BB, Boston Stock Exchange: SMID, SMID) announced that the Company was selected by Facchina Construction Company, Inc. to furnish and deliver J-J Hooks concrete highway safety barrier as part of a larger project of improvements along I-695 and I-83. Over 21,000 linear feet of barrier will be sold and rented for the project. Facchina preferred J-J Hooks in this project because the barrier is easier to set and there is no loose hardware which makes it less costly. The total value of the contract is over $528,000, half of which will be completed this year and the balance completed next spring.
